Tumbleweed Baler

The Tumbleweed Baler is a converted cotton module builder.  The baler is setup at a location and the filled with our specialized skip loader.  As each load of tumbleweeds is added, the hydraulic ram is used to compress the bale.  Once complete, the back gate is opened and the baler is pulled off the newly formed bale.

The resulting bale is roughly 32’x8’x8’.  When loaded with only dry tumbleweeds, each bale weighs approximately 5 tons.  Bales composed of dirt and tumbleweeds have weighed up to 23 tons.  Completed bales are loaded into the bale mover via a walking floor and transported to a disposal site.
