We came across this unbelieveable scene one day as we were out for a drive in the Mojave Desert.

YouTube: Tumbleweeds in Rancho Palos Verdes FULL VERSION Feb. 18th 2011
Winds around 25 mph blew through Rancho Palos Verdes around 4pm today. On my way away from RPVtv I was stopped by a “cluster” of Tumbleweeds that intermittently blocked the road.
As cars passed and avoided the “tumblers” I began taping. Within only a few minutes, Officer Chris Knox had blocked off the number one lane, coned off a safety area and then proceeded to remove the 5 foot wide weeds.
Soon after Knox began clearing the road, a group of good Samaritans stopped and help Officer Knox place the weeds in a safe area where they would not be blown back into the street.
Of course the underlying theme here is that the camera operator sat in a car filming this entire event.
